MOSCOW: Lokomotiv Moscow has signed Egyptian striker Amr Zaki and Tunisian midfielder Saker Zouaghi on five-year contracts, the Russian premier league club said on Saturday. Zaki, who helped Egypt to the African Nations Cup title on home soil last month, is the second striker signed by the Moscow club in the last four days. Scotland striker Garry O Connor, 22, signed a five-year deal with Lokomotiv on Tuesday. Zaki, also 22, arrives from Egyptian club ENPPI while Zouaghi, 20, played for Tunisian side Etoile Sahel last year. The North African pair joins Lokomotiv s multi-national squad for the start of the Russian league season on March 18. The railway side also signed Croat Emir Spahic, fellow defender Slovak Marian Had, Serb Branislav Ivanovic, Ghana midfielder Larry Kingston, Brazilian winger Selsinho and Mali striker Draman Traore.
