The Katameya Heights Clubhouse Salon joins the World Cup fever
CAIRO: On June 9, the Katameya Heights Clubhouse Salon caught on to World Cup fever, changing seating arrangements and upgrading their audio-visual set-up for for football fans.
Besides the already installed plasma screen, a projector was added for better viewing. As a match starts, rows of chairs are placed conveniently in front of the projector for those interested in following the game up close. There are also stadium-like four levels of seating to accommodate the different viewing preferences.
The foreign clientele packing the place add to the energetic atmosphere as they enthusiastically cheer their national teams during the tournament.
At times when there is no game or if guests are not interested to watch, the salon offers other activities from Truth and Dare to baby foot. So, if the football fever really gets to you, you have a quick option to exert all the energy.
With lively atmosphere accompanied with delicious Lebanese food in a beautiful natural setting, the salon on the second floor of the Katameya Heights Golf and Tennis Resort Clubhouse is suitable for both family outings and friends gatherings.
The wooden furniture and beige walls and cushions give a feeling of tranquillity combined with elegance and warmness; it s like stepping into a friend s stylish and cosy living room. The offered foods only add to the homelike feeling.
Starting with the famous fatoush, the traditional Lebanese salad, and sambousak, the foods take you to the heart of Lebanon. The main dishes include the renowned Lebanese fatta. All are served in generous portions.
Even if you are not looking for a meal, the menu will also satisfy your culinary needs. Besides the Lebanese dishes, an assortment of snacks and sandwiches are offered. The steak and smoked salmon sandwiches are highly recommended. Other snacks include French fries and chips with a variety of sauces. As for beverages, soft drink and juices are available.
There is no minimum charge and all menu entries range from LE 40-100.
