As part of the Accor and Sofitel’s ongoing responsibility to the local community, Sofitel Karnak Hotel has taken an innovative step towards helping underprivileged children. They offered 20 orphans, aged between five and 10, from Luxor’s Sunshine Orphanage a day of fun and entertainment at the hotel.
Hotel guests and representatives from tour companies also joined in the fun and helped make a day a resounding success.
Sofitel Karnak is looking to expand on this gesture and further increase its role in the community. The hotel management and staff explain that community service is considered to be an essential duty for any organization to become an effective partner in local society and fulfill its social obligation.
