CAIRO: Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak traveled to Libya on Monday for talks with Libyan leader Moamer Kadhafi, official media said.
During a visit that was only to last a few hours, Mubarak was to discuss regional politics and African issues with Kadhafi, Egypt s official MENA news agency said.
The two leaders held a summit on February 28 in Misrata, east of the Libyan capital, following which they rejected the replacement of an African Union force in the troubled Sudanese region of Darfur by UN peacekeepers.
