LONDON: Tottenham s Egyptian international duo, Mido and Hossam Ghaly, will be called up for the international friendly against South Africa, Egypt s assistant coach Shawki Gharib said on Monday.

Gharib told FilGoal.com that London-based Mido and Ghaly are expected to play a pivotal role in the match that will take place on Nov. 15th.

Ghaly has managed to establish himself within Spurs ranks while Mido has been in top form recently.

The match will be played at Griffin Park, home of Football League One side Brentford.

Bremens Zidan also earned a recall.

He also revealed that Egypt captain and Anderlecht midfielder Ahmed Hassan, Werder Bremen forward Mohamed Zidan and PAOK defender Amir Azmi would also be named to the 20-man squad.

Egypt coach Hassan Shehata has chosen to postpone naming the entire squad until next Sunday after watching the 10th round of the Egyptian league.

Egypt’s last international friendly was against Uruguay in Alexandria last August. The Pharaohs lost the game 2-0.
