CAIRO: Twin brothers, one a social worker at an educational institute and another employee at a media company, both 45, have been detained for having allegedly raped a six-year-old boy in Mohandiseen, local media sources reported.
The twins, who alternate operating a shuttling service for nursery school children, were accused of having raped the boy over the last two years.
They were said to have blindfolded the boy and taken him to a flat where they raped him brutally, unmoved by his screams and calls for mercy.
The social worker continued to molest the boy for two years. But this was not the end of the horrific, hair-raising and stomach-turning crime, for he eventually invited his twin brother two months before their arrest to commit similar acts of pedophilia.
The case was reported to the police after the boy’s parents noticed his excessive inclination to want to be alone.
The boy eventually revealed the incidents to his parents and said one of the rapists had threatened to kill his mother and father if he dared to tell them about the molestations.
Although medical tests indicate that the boy has been molested, both brothers continue to deny the charge. The medical section of the forensic laboratory will examine the boy in search of more evidence.
