Inspired by “A Lens to the Past, the publication of a series of old photographs of Egypt provided by the Arab Image Foundation, The Daily Star Egypt, in collaboration with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, will be holding a photography competition. Dig out your antique photograph albums and send us images of Egypt taken between 1900 and 1960. Please add a brief description.
The readers who submit the winning photographs will receive one of three awards provided by Hyatt Hotels & Resorts:
1st prize will be a half-board weekend for two at Hyatt Regency Taba Heights 2nd prize is a bed-and-breakfast weekend for two at the Hyatt Regency in Sharm El-Sheikh3rd prize is a dinner for two at the Grand Hyatt Cairo
Send your photographs to: [email protected] or snail mail to: The Daily Star Egypt, 14 Mohamed Anis St., Zamalek. Submissions will be accepted until Dec. 31, and the winners will be announced on Jan. 10.
Employees, and their family members, of Hyatt Hotels & Resorts and The Daily Star Egypt are not eligible and need not apply.
