CAIRO: Egyptian and African champions Al Ahly said on Tuesday that their goalkeeper Nader Al-Sayed has joined ENPPI on a permanent basis starting from January.
Al Ahly marketing director Adli Al-Qaeyi told FilGoal.com that the club received two offers from ENPPI and Ittihad Alexandria but the player decided to join the Cairo-based club.
Al-Qaeyi added that Al-Sayed opted for a move out in search for regular football after going down the pecking order following Essam Al-Hadari and Amir Abdul-Hamid.
The 34-year-old goalie joined Al Ahly in May 2005 from Masri but his participation was kept to a minimum.
Al-Sayed also played for local clubs Zamalek, Ittihad Alexandria and Goldy as well as Club Brugge of Belgium.
