Electrical dry gas generators production starts

The Ministry of Electricity and Energy carried out a program to produce dry gas generators for the first ever time in Egypt in cooperation with the Egyptian and international companies, according to reports by the State Information Service yesterday. This makes Egypt a hub for exporting dry gas generator to neighboring countries, especially considering their competitive prices.

Minister of Electricity and Energy Hassan Yunis was reported to have said that Egypt possesses a huge industrial base, the investments of which hit LE 10 billion. He said 6 generating stations with a 500 mega volt capacity were established with investments worth LE 200 million.

On a similar note, Ahmed Helmi, director of one of wind energy projects, said Egypt targets establishing of new electricity generation station using wind energy in cooperation with Japan at a cost of $ 120 million.
