CAIRO: Law-enforcement authorities have managed to unravel the mystery of a fire that resulted in the killing of divorced woman and the disappearance of her three-year-old girl, reported Al Gomhuriya. Investigations revealed that the woman who lived in Imbaba received several blows to the head by her divorcee who discovered that she had an affair with her building’s landlord. After Mohamed Ali Al Kilani, 27, an electrician hit his divorcee Mervat Abu Seree, 26, in the head with a metal weapon; he left along with his daughter after he set fire to the flat. Al Kilani divorced his wife five months ago but kept coming to her place to see his daughter. Detecting her movements, he found out that she had an affair with the owner of the building in which she lived. Having returned from a picnic with his daughter he confronted his divorcee who asked him to mind his own business. Following a long dispute he hit in the head, burnt the flat, took her mobile phone, the flat keys, her cell phone and dumped them in the Nile waters.
