Volleyball – Egypt concede third defeat in World Junior Championship

Egypt lost to Brazil 3-0 on Tuesday marking their third defeat in four matches in the World Youth Championship held in Morocco, from July 7to 15.

The Brazilians overwhelmed their opponents and went through with an easy score of 25-17, 25-14, 25-13 led by a terrific Wallace De Souza who scored 13 points.

Brazil’s coach Percy Oncken enlisted the substitutes to give the team’s main players time to rest.

The Pharaohs are now fourth in group B with a single victory over Argentina 3-1 and three defeats from USA 3-2, Slovenia 3-0 and Brazil 3-0.

Brazil, which won three of their four matches, leads the group.

The Egyptians will play their last game against the Russia on Wednesday.
