CAIRO: The 26-year-old victim of a shocking gang rape reported in Al Gomhuria newspaper was finally able to identify the criminals following a police investigation.
The victim was walking with her fiancé, Mohamed El Sayed, 30, when five young men attacked them, kidnapped her in a taxi and took her to an apartment belonging to one of them, where they took turns raping her.
The description of her attacker she provided the police with eventually led to the capture of one of them, Ahmed Hassan, 18, who then revealed the identities of the rest of the group.
