Although he is back after four months out with an injury, Zamalek’s keeper Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed won’t be included in the Whites’ squad when they take on Baladeya next week.
The 29-year-old keeper produced a brilliant performance in his first training session with the team on Monday night, but he is still not fit enough to play in matches.
“Physically and technically I’m ready. But I lack match practice and I’m trying to catch up as quickly as possible, Al-Sayed told FilGoal.com.
“I started training two weeks ago but I have just started training with the team and I think I need more time to be in top form.
Al-Sayed was submitted to an intense training session but he didn’t participate in the mini-game as the keeper’s coach didn’t want to rush him in.
“I won’t play against Baladeya but maybe I’ll be included in the squad for Ittihad or ENPPI.
