CAIRO: The league game between Al Ahly and Arab Contractors will take place this Thursday after the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) rejected Al Ahly’s request to move the game before Ramadan.
The EFA did not specify any reasons for the decision which came against the desire of both clubs, who jointly agreed upon moving the game one day forward.
The Egyptian football governing body also rejected a similar plea made by Suez Cement, who will host Ghazl Mahalla on Friday.
The fourth day of the Egyptian league will kick off on Wednesday, with Aluminum taking on Masri, while Al-Gaish will host Harras Al-Hodoud.
