CAIRO: Ahly marketing manager Adli Al-Qaeyi dismissed claims made by Ibrahim Saied that he has been officially approached by the Egyptian champions.
Personally, I did not contact Saied, and even if there is there is any interest in him, which is untrue, negotiations are no way near official, Al-Qaeyi told FilGoal.com.
The Egypt defender recently claimed that he has been allowed by Ankaragucu to return to his homeland in order to hear the Ahly offer.
Saied also stated that in case the Ahly move didn t work, he is likely to join newly-promoted Turkish side Baladeyat Istanbul in January.
The 28-year-old has been pleading for a move to his former club since last season, but the Reds are yet to show any signs of interest towards the controversial stopper.
