CAIRO: Zamalek manager Ruud Krol has recalled defender Tarek Al-Sayed to the squad which will face league leaders Al-Gaish on Wednesday.

The Egypt defender returns to action after sitting out Zamalek s last three league games due to technical reasons.

However, midfielder Mohamed Aboul Ella was ruled out due to minor health problems, whilst goalkeeper Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed is yet to regain full match fitness.

Zamalek captain and fans favorite Hazem Emam was excluded from the squad for the fourth straight game, as Jordan defender Khaled Saad also remains out of favor.

The Whites will miss skillful playmaker Mahmoud “Shikabala Abdul-Razek, who received a three-match suspension after his inappropriate gestures towards Al Ahly fans in the recent 1-0 defeat.

In addition to Shikabala, Tunisian defender Wissem El-Abdi and Egypt striker Abdel Halim Ali are both suspended after receiving a second caution against Al Ahly.
