CAIRO: The game between Baladeya and Ismaili in the Egyptian League has been moved to Ghazl Mahalla’s venue due to security reasons, FilGoal.com has learned.
Security officials decided the game shouldn’t be played at Baladeya’s venue because it is not designed to host huge crowds who are likely to support Ismaili.
Baladeya, placed 13th with three points, host fourth-placed Ismaili on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Ghazl Mahalla fined midfielder Mohsen Hendawi LE 10,000 after he fought with his teammates.
Hendawi was suspended during his side’s 1-0 victory over Masri last week after the quarrel.
The club has also warned Hendawi that he will be slammed with a bigger fine if he repeated his actions.
