CAIRO: Harras Al-Hodoud board have rejected the resignation of manager Tarek Al-Ashri and confirmed that he will be in charge until the end of the season.
Al-Ashri handed in his resignation after the 1-1 home draw with a 10-man Ghazl Mahalla side last week, but the Al Hodoud board gave him their vote of confidence.
The resignation is not accepted and we are confident in Al-Ashri s abilities, so he will remain head coach, Al-Hodoud General Secretary Yahia Al-Leqani told FilGoal.com.
We believe the team is in progress, but we just need some luck.
Al Hodoud are currently third from bottom in the Egyptian League, and they are yet to win after seven weeks of the competition.
