CAIRO: Egypt basketball team kicked off their Pan Arab Games campaign on home soil with an easy 77-57 victory over Yemen.
The victory put Egypt in charge of Group B with two points while Yemen had just one point following their defeat.
Egypt produced a fine display and were superior over their opponents to issue a warning note to competitors.
The Pharaohs face Kuwait in their next match today.
