CAIRO: Al Ahly skipper Mohamed Abou Treika has fully recovered from a minor injury and will feature against Etoile du Sahel on Friday in the CAF Champions League, according to the club’s medical staff.
The club’s website announced Monday that the player is already participating in physical and technical trainings.
Abou Treika is set to join his teammates on Tuesday and will be a 100 percent fit for the game, read the web site.
The 29-year old playmaker has been training individually for the past couple of days after suffering from knee pain following Ismaili game last Thursday.
He could have resumed full trainings on Saturday but the medical staff preferred to rest him for another couple of days to help him fully recover.
