CAIRO: Ahly trio Mohamed Abou-Treika, Emad Al-Nahhas and Ahmed Al-Sayed have been declared fit for the CAF Champions League final with Etoile Sahel on Friday after resuming full training with the team.
Star man Abou-Treika was taken off the Reds 1-1 draw at Ismaili last week after colliding with Hosni Abd-Rabou and has been training privately ever since, but the Egypt playmaker is now fit for the final.
Likewise, defense duo Al-Nahhas and Al-Sayed have been given green light for the Etoile game after they suffered minor knocks in the first leg a fortnight ago.
However, Ahly coach Manuel Jose is yet to decide on the fitness of Angolan defender Sebastiao Gilberto, who has a persistent Achilles problem.
