CAIRO: League strugglers Ittihad are willing to reinforce the team with a new African striker in the upcoming winter transfer break.
Interim chairman Mohamed Moselhi revealed that the Alexandria-based club is weighing an LE 1 million budget for the services of a new striker.
We are hoping to strengthen the squad with an African striker, we are ready to spend around LE 1 million for that, Moselhi told FilGoal.com.
We are also looking for a full-back and a defensive midfielder.
Despite the team s need for new signings, Moselhi rejected the idea of naming players who are likely to be shown the door.
Ittihad are currently second from bottom with seven points from 11 games.
