CAIRO: Hassan Mostafa said that he has no problems with Al Ahly manager Manuel Jose after the tenacious midfielder signed a new contract at the Cairo club.
Mostafa joined Saudi Arabia s Al-Wehda on loan from the Egyptian champions, where he failed to keep a regular place this term.
The 29-year-old has reportedly fallen out with the Portuguese coach, who usually relegated him to the bench this season.
My relationship with Jose is fine, things were patched up after I agreed to extend my contract, he told Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiya.
The Egypt international admitted that Jose s insistence to keep him on the bench for long spells was the main reason behind his decision to join Wehda.
I lost my place in Al Ahly s starting 11, that’s why I joined Wehda, I needed regular football but I understand Jose s point of view.
