CAIRO: Ittihad coach Mohamed Salah said he will sue midfielder Hesham Hanafi after the latter accused him of accepting money from players to select them in the starting line-up.
I hope the technical staff members support me in this case, Salah told FilGoal.com on Wednesday.
Hanafi caused controversy after questioning Salah s choices to field players who don t train on regular basis.
He went further in his accusations, claiming that the former Masri manager receives money for playing the out-of-favor men.
Hanafi s claims infuriated Salah, who insists he will not continue his work unless the 34-year-old s actions are investigated by the club.
The Alexandria-based club summoned Hanafi to a hearing, which was due on Wednesday, but the former Al Ahly man showed up late.
As a result, Ittihad decided to postpone it to a later date. Hanafi won t be able to take part in training until justifying his claims.
