Ministry of Sound Red Sea and Hed Kandi Beach Bar are set to hold Egypt’s large dance-music line-up ever for December 2007.
Hurghada will witness DJ sets and live performances from a whole host of international industry top players. The country’s clubbers will be treated to audio treats from BBC Radio One’s Judge Jules, alongside old-skool heroes Ratpack and MTV’s Pimp My Ride presenter/DJ Richie Don.
Ratpack will kick off the Eid Festival on Dec. 20. The unique combination of DJ talents and MCing ability has rocked dance floors around the world since their explosion on to the scene.
Expect mucho hands-in-the-air action with their massive song-based hit records such as “Searching for My Rizla and “Brothers & Sisters.
Next up is one of the main men from MTV’s Pimp My Ride UK, DJ Richie Don (Smoove Dec. 22). Returning after his mammoth R&B/hip-hop event earlier this year, his versatile style places him in a league above the rest.
The world-renowned Judge Jules (Dec. 28) is easily one of the most popular DJs, with sets that combine passion, amazing tunes and a pair of hands capable of the most nimble of mixing. Jules has won such accolades as “Best DJ (Muzik Awards), No.1 DJ (Mixmag Reader’s Poll), “Best International DJ (DanceStar), and “Best Radio DJ at the Smirnoff DanceStar.
The New Year’s Eve agenda strengthens the festive Hurghada program with two more parties. Hed Kandi Beach Bar will welcome back the luscious Miss Kelly Marie, this time accompanied by established vocalist Martay for that extra live element. Ministry of Sound will also be greeted with the duo’s routine, complimented by Sharm El-Sheikh resident DJ Courtice and the usual Ministry Red Sea suspects.
Adding to the record-breaking year that both venues have experienced, artists previously attracting sell-out successes have included DJs Graham Gold, Luke Neville, Brandon Block and Tall Paul amongst others.
