CAIRO: Ismaili vice president Ibrahim Ashour said that Sayed Moawad s transfer hasn t been completed as the board didn t give the green light to chairman Yehia Al-Kumi yet.
We will have a meeting with governor Abdul-Gelil Al-Fakharani to decide on the player s future, Ashour told FilGoal.com.
Al-Kumi can t make the deal by himself because he must have a board approval. The transfer could be blocked right now because of the fans anger, added the Dervishes official.
Board member Sayed Al-Qamash has also protested Moawad s move. Zamalek s offer was higher and so why sell him to Ahly? If the player doesn t like Zamalek then he should wait until the end of his contract and move to Ahly.
The technical staff made it clear that they do not want to sell the player who is a key member of their squad, added Al-Qamash.
The situation is getting worse in Ismailia as Chairman Yehia Al-Kumi threatened to step down if the move does not go through.
