Club Africain midfielder Lassaad Ouertani revealed on Monday that Zamalek are interested in acquiring his services.
Zamalek officials contacted me and made their interest known to Club Africain president, Ouertani told Tunisian paper Assabah.
The president said he won t consider any offer until the end of the season because the club have many important commitments in the upcoming months.
Ouertani himself is not sure whether he wants to depart Club Africain and join the Cairo giants.
Zamalek aren t the only interested party, there are some other offers from Gulf clubs. I will take part in the CAF Champions League this season, so I may attract more suitors.
I m desperate to win a title with Club Africain before moving abroad to repay those faithful fans, he added.
Ouertani also said that his compatriot Wissem El-Abdi, who plays for Zamalek, told him he would guarantee a regular place if he moved to the men in white.
None of Ahmed Magdi, Ahmed Abdul-Raouf, Tamer Abdul-Hamid and Mohamed Aboul-Ella impressed in the heart of Zamalek s midfield.
