CAIRO: Ahmed Abou-Mosallam undergoes trial with English club Crystal Palace for a possible move in January.
The international left-back told FilGoal.com that he trained twice with the Championship side and played a friendly on Tuesday night.
Abou-Mosallam said he will be informed whether he would be offered a contract in the end of the week.
Dropped by Egypt for the African Cup campaign and always sidelined at Strasbourg, Abou-Mosallam sought a move out of the Ligue 1 side.
The former Ahli man said late in 2007 that he had offers from Egyptian League sides but he preferred to play European football.
Crystal Palace are sixth in the Championship on 41 points.
