CAIRO: Egypt playmaker Mohamed Abou Trika hopes he could have a new challenge in Europe following his brilliant performance in the 2008 Nations Cup.
“I would love to move to Europe after what I have done in the Nations Cup, he told Spanish newspaper Marca.
The 29-year old playmaker was inspirational in the Pharaohs successful campaign and scored the winning goal in the 1-0 final victory over Cameroon.
“I hope I could get an offer from a Spanish club. I am a fan of the Primera Liga and I think it is the most entertaining league in Europe, added the Al Ahly playmaker.
Abou Trika was included in the Nations Cup Best XI after scoring four goals, helping Egypt clinch their sixth title.
