CAIRO: Zamalek striker Abdel Halim Ali has been left out of the squad for Suez Cement Cup tie on Thursday after he failed a fitness test.
The 34-year old striker was injured against APR Rwanda last Sunday and won t be fit in time for the quarterfinals clash.
Tunisian defender Wissem El Abdi is also doubtful for this game after he picked up an injury during Tuesday s training session.
Manager Ruud Krol will have to do without suspended Mahmoud “Shikabala Abdel Razeq, Amr Safti and Tarek Al-Sayed.
But the Dutchman had the best of news as his star striker Amr Zaki has recovered from injury and will be ready to start the game on Thursday.
