CAIRO: Al Ahly striker Emad Meteb is set to join Russian side FC Saturn, the Egyptian champions said early on Wednesday.
Saturn have tabled a ?3 million bid to sign the Egyptian international immediately, with the Russian League starting on March 15.
Al Ahly accepted the offer and Meteb is set for a medical in the next dew days.
Meteb will earn around ?1 million per season. His initial contract with Al Ahly runs out in June 2009.
Saturn finished the domestic league last season in fifth place.
