Zamalek assistant coach Mohamed Helmi is angry after defender Amr Al-Safti was handed a three-match suspension on Wednesday.
The combative defender was sent-off in Zamalek s 1-1 draw with Ittihad after an off-ball challenge against striker Abdul-Hamid Hassan.
Consequently, the former Masri man will miss Zamalek s Cairo derby against Ahly on March 14.
The Egyptian FA based their decision on the referee s post-match report even though TV replays clearly showed there was no contact, Helmi told FilGoal.com.
The competition s committee has previously banned Amr Zaki after viewing video footage although the referee did not mention the incident in his report.
Zaki was banned for three matches after being caught on camera insulting the referee.
