CAIRO: Egyptian winger Sayed Moawad made his debut for Trabzonspor, helping them beat Kasim Pasha 2-1, on Sunday, in match day 25 of the Turkish Super Lig.

The Ismaili winger was loaned to Tranzonspor just after the African Nations Cup but until now has had to watch the games from the bench.

Moawad and his fellow country man Ayman Abdel Aziz played the whole 90 minutes and contributed to the team s victory.

Trabzonspor are now sixth of the table with 35 points.

Elsewhere, Egyptian international defender Ibrahim Saied played his first game of the year for Ankaragucu in their 3-2 defeat against Sivasspor.

Saied had been linked with a move away from the Ankara-based side but he opted for extending his stay.

The former Ahly and Zamalek player switched his position to an attacking midfield role.

Ankaragucu are 10th of the table with 29 points.
