CAIRO: Al Ahly keeper Essam Al-Hadari has been named in the Egypt squad for their friendly game against Argentina at Cairo Stadium on March 26.
The 35-year, who is serving a three-week ban, was one of 23 players named in the squad by coach Hassan Shehata on Tuesday.
There were concerns that Hadari might not be included in the squad following his contractual conflict between Al Ahly and Swiss side FC Sion.
But Shehata selected all players from the 23-man squad that won the Nations Cup title last month.
Argentina have already announced their squad for the game and it didn t include Hernan Crespo, Juan Riquelme, Carlos Tevez or the injured Lionel Messi.
