CAIRO: Ismaili play down claims that they intend to sign an agency contract with former coach Mark Wotte in order to sell midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou to a European club.

A source in the club told FilGoal.com that the club can t take any action until the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) gives its decision in the contractual conflict between Ismaili and Strasbourg over the international midfielder.

Local press reports suggested that the Dutch tactician, who works in a sports agency, offered to bring European offers for Abd-Rabou.

The source added that sweeper Hani Saied is the only player who has been allowed to leave now and that he should complete his move to Metalurg in the next few days.

Abd-Rabou has been linked with a move away from Ismailia following a brilliant performance in the Nations Cup 2008 that earned him the best player award.

The 24-year old is waiting for the verdict of the CAS before the end of March. He confirmed several times that he wants Ismaili to stay but his main target is moving to a European club.
