CAIRO: Al Masri filed a complaint to the Egyptian Football Association against Arab Contractors coach Alaa Nabil after the violence that occurred at the end of the game between both clubs last Friday.
Nabil was involved in a dispute with Masri supporters and the players. Additionally, he described the game as played in a hostile environment.
A statement issued by the board said: Alaa was very nervous since the beginning of the game and didn t stop protesting against the referee s decisions in a way that angered our fans.
He attacked the board and described the environment as hostile. The truth is that they [Nabil and Arab Contractors players] attacked and hit our players to blow the situation wide open.
The EFA disciplinary committee will investigate the case.
