CAIRO: A second half goal by Adel Mostafa was all what ENPPI needed to beat Aluminum 1-0 on Monday in the Egyptian Premier League.
The result lifts ENPPI to the seventh place with 36 points while Aluminum remain eleventh with 27 points.
ENPPI were the better side and created a lot of chances but strikers Vincent Di Foneye and Ahmed Raouf are to blame for not making their advantage count.
In the 63rd minute, Di Foneye made an individual effort on the right side and sent a low cross to Mostafa who scored from close range.
Aluminum went close from the equalizer but Ingrid Digba s header was brilliantly denied by Amer Mohamed.
It could only become worse for Sabri Al-Minyawi s men as Hussein Mohamed was sent off in the 85th minute after a harsh tackle on Di Foneye who was clear on target.
Alaa Issa could have doubled ENPPI s lead in injury time but his shot bounced back from the woodwork.
