CAIRO: Zamalek assistant manager Mohamed Helmi has expressed his dismay over the refusal of the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) to postpone Thursday s league game against Tersana for 24 hours.

The FA are insistent on their decision to hold the last three match-days of the competition at the scheduled time.

We have just arrived from Angola and the players are very tired. We will only have one training session before the game and that is far from enough, Helmi told FilGoal.com.

I don t know why the EFA rejected our appeal. It will be difficult for us.

The Whites have reached the CAF Champions League quarter finals after a 4-2 aggregate win over Interclube de Luanda.

Zamalek are in the hunt for the second spot of the League. With three matches left to play, Ruud Krol s men have 50 points just like Ismaili.
