ISMAILIA: Ismaili announced that Sherif Abdel Fadil signed a three-year extension to his contract, which should keep him in Ismailia until 2013.

The 25-year-old, whose initial contract was due to end in 2010, rebuffed bids from Ahly and Zamalek as he pledged his future to the Dervishes.

The powerful defender was chosen by Hassan Shehata for Egypt s 2010 World Cup qualifiers this month, but he was not selected for the Djibouti game on Friday.

Ismaili new chairman Saad Al-Gendi recently vowed to extend the contracts of international players like Hani Saied, Hosni Abd-Rabou, Omar Gamal and Mohamed Fadl.

Meanwhile, Al-Gendi informed FilGoal.com that the club will keep on fighting against FIFA s decision in the infamous Abd-Rabou case.

Ismaili refuse to give on their right to own the player, despite CAS latest verdict which ruled in favor of French Ligue2 side Strasbourg.
