CAIRO: Moatasem Salem signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him at Ismaili until at least 2012.
Salem had a contract that would have expired on June 2010 but he inked a new deal on Saturday.
“I am looking to settle myself here and that’s why I had no doubts before signing the contracts, the 27-year old defender told FilGoal.com.
Salem is the fourth player to extend his stay at the Dervishes as Sherif Abdul-Fadil, Ahmed Samir Farag and Guinean midfielder Samuel Johnson put pen to paper a couple of weeks ago.
“My main objective now is to get back in the national squad and help my teammates in their World Cup qualifying campaign, concluded Salem.
