CAIRO: Hassan Shehata chose ENPPI striker Ahmed Raouf to replace the injured Mohamed Fadl ahead of Egypt s 2010 World Cup qualifier in Malawi next Saturday.
Fadl dislocated his shoulder in Egypt s 4-0 win over Djibouti last weekend, and is set to miss the rest of the qualifying campaign.
Raouf, who is yet to make his Egypt debut, had an impressive spell with ENPPI since joining in January, as he scored six goals in the second half of last season.
Meanwhile, Ahli goalkeeper Amir Abdul-Hamid will join the squad at the expense of reserve keeper Mohamed Sobhi.
Egypt will be without injured duo Abdul-Aziz Tawfeek and Mohamed Abdul-Shafi.
