CAIRO: Junior Agogo s agent Mohamed Mansour insisted his client is yet to accept Zamalek s offer, despite the Cairo club s assertion that the deal was sealed.

Agogo is still considering Zamalek s offer, he hasn t taken a final decision yet, Mansour told Egyptian Radio.

Zamalek general manager Alaa Mekled said earlier on Thursday that Agogo joined the Egyptian Cup winners on a four-year deal.

The player will earn 350,000 euros per year, Mekled told FilGoal.com.

Zamalek did not disclose the transfer fee, but FilGoal.com learned that the White Castle will pay 1.2 million euros for English side Forest.

Agogo is expected to become Zamalek s fifth signing in the close season following the arrival of Mahmoud Samir, Alaa Kamal, Ayman Abdul-Aziz and Amir Azmi.

His imminent move to Zamalek could convince club s chairman Mamdouh Abbas to sell Amr Zaki to Wigan Athletic.

Abbas said last month he would not offload Zaki unless he found his replacement.

Combative striker Agogo helped Forest win promotion to the Championship, the second tier in the English football league system.

Agogo, who participated in Ghana s 2008 African Cup of Nations campaign on home soil, netted 13 goals in 27 games last season.
