ALEXANDRIA: Ittihad continued rebuilding their squad for next season after signing right-back Ahmed Hossam on a free transfer on Saturday.
Hossam has penned a two-year deal with Ittihad, the club s president Mohamed Moselhi told FilGoal.com.
The 27-year-old defender was released by Zamalek last month after failing to prove his worth with the Egyptian Cup winners.
Ittihad have recently signed two other full-backs in former Ahly player Ahmed Adel and Telecom Egypt s Adel Fathi.
The Alexandria-based club are also tracking ENPPI midfielder Samir Sabri, according to Moselhi.
Taha Basri s men will be looking to improve on last season s tenth-place finish in the Egyptian League.
