ISMAILIA: Ismaili have signed Nigerian striker Minusu Buba from Arab Contractors on a three-year deal that runs to 2011, the club announced on Friday.
“We agreed to sign him a few weeks ago but the move was delayed due to our administrative problems, club director Abdel Rahman Anous told FilGoal.com.
Former President Saad Al-Gendi held talks with Buba but the deal was put on hold after the resignation of the board.
“I’m in charge of the team until the new elections and I approved the transfer, added Anous.
The 23-year old striker lost his place in Arab Contractors’ line-up to new signing Rami Rabie who finished on top of the club’s scorers’ chart.
Buba, who scored three goals last season, is set to earn around LE 500,000 per season.
