CAIRO: African champions Egypt will face Iran in an international friendly game in the United Arab Emirates on August 20.
The Pharaohs will meet Asian heavyweights Iran few weeks before taking on DR Congo in their last Group 12 match of the World Cup qualifiers.
Egypt share the group s lead with DR Congo on nine points, three ahead of Malawi.
Iran have been drawn along with South Korea, Saudi Arabia, North Korea and the United Arab Emirates in the fourth-round group of Asia s World Cup qualifiers.
