CAIRO: Al-Ahly has rejected a one-year loan offer for defender Wael Gomaa from Saudi Arabia s Al-Nassr.
Hossam Al-Badri told me that the club is not willing to let me go this season, Gomaa told FilGoal.com.
The 32-year-old, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Qatar s Al-Siliya, was supposed to receive LE 800,000 from the Saudi club.
Gomaa is an undisputable member in Egypt s backline and Al-Ahly had serious problems in defense during his absence.
The former Ghazl Mahalla center-half was linked with a move to Blackburn Rovers after Egypt s 2006 African Cup of Nations victory.
