CAIRO: Hosni Abd-Rabou s proposed move to Saudi side Al-Nassr will not be taking place as talks over his contract have faltered.
Al-Nassr wanted to insert a $3 million release clause, while Abd-Rabou suggested he would refund 80 percent of his contract s amount if he wishes to leave, the player s brother Tarek Abd-Rabou told FilGoal.com.
Talks have been inconclusive and as a result Al-Nassr have withdrawn their offer.
The 24-year old international midfielder will return to Egypt on Thursday.
Ahly Dubai have revealed their interest in signing Abd-Rabou, while reports in Spain have claimed that Osasuna are still in the hunt.
However, there haven’t been any official offers tabled for the player so far.
