CAIRO: Harras Al-Hodoud were handed a 1-0 defeat by Mamelodi Sundowns in Pretoria in the African Confederation Cup first leg round of 16 game.
A 62nd minute header by Lungisani Ndlela sealed the victory for the South African club.
The return game will be played after two weeks at Al-Max Stadium in Alexandria.
Harras are Egypt s sole representatives in the Confederation Cup as they make their continental debut.
