CAIRO: Egyptian forward Mohamed Zidan scored in Hamburg s 6-0 drubbing of town local side Pinneberg in a charity match on Sunday.
Hamburg, who will play in the UEFA Cup next season, went two up before the interval, thanks to a brace from Paolo Guerrero.
Zidan, who was heavily linked with a move to Saudi giants Ittihad Jeddah, added the third in the 61st minute.
According to Hamburg s official website, the 26-year-old put in a good display.
Zidan could revive his career under new coach Martin Jol, who took over from Huub Stevens.
Egyptian international Zidan had limited opportunities last season after being involved in a series of bust-ups with Stevens.
