CAIRO: TV presenter Khaled Al-Ghandour has hit back at Egypt captain Ahmed Hassan claiming that he has the evidence to prove the Ahly player interfered in Hani Saied s move to rivals Zamalek.

Al-Ghandour claimed in his daily show on Dream TV that Hassan influenced the Ismaili defender s decision and encouraged him to reconsider his move to Zamalek.

I don t discuss any issue on my show, Sports Today, unless I am a 100 percent confident it s true, Al-Ghandour told FilGoal.com in an exclusive interview.

I don t make up stories, he said. Four different sources informed me about a conversation between Hassan and Saied in which he convinced the latter to sign for Ahly instead of Zamalek, and I confirmed it.

The former Anderlecht man had vehemently denied the allegations and promised to sue Al-Ghandour for making false allegations. I don t know why Hassan is denying, but if he wants to sue then its up to him, I don t have a problem with that, said Al-Ghandour.

He is an Ahly player and he has every right to encourage his national teammates to come and play for his club. I see nothing wrong with that.

Zamalek captain Ayman Abdel Aziz does the same for his club, but it seems that Hassan wants to be diplomatic and remain loved and respected by both Ahly and Zamalek fans.

Al-Ghandour also refuted Hassan s allegations that he is biased towards his former club, Zamalek.

I say the whole truth and I don t favor Zamalek, he said. I m as neutral as any broadcaster can be.
